É dito que OM é o som que precede a formação do universo, é a sílaba raiz.
Ao recitar este mantra na meditação ou no quotidiano – OM, como a vibração mais pura dentro de nós mesmos – buscamos libertar a mente do constante fluxo de pensamentos confusos através do equilíbrio e concentração profunda.

Roda de Oração
Os tibetanos acreditam que quando você gira a roda de oração, em vez de recitar apenas um mantra, você esta recitando todos os milhares de mantras contidos no rolo de mantras dentro da roda. Isso incrementa a sua energia positiva, essa energia pode ser dedicada em intenção própria ou para beneficiar outros seres.
Nagarjuna, um dos principais mestres tibetanos, afirma que os mantras impressos tem tanto poder quanto os recitados. E, segundo Ele, o fato de rodarem em todas os lugares permite que os benefícios se espalhem para além do tempo e do espaço.
Atualmente usam-se também filmes fotográficos de mantras, para que se possa colocar maior quantidade de mantras dentros das rodas.
Dakini
O mestre Nyingma , Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, explicou:
“Dakini refere-se ao princípio feminino da sabedoria, que manifesta no sexo feminino forma a beneficiar os seres.
Nós dizemos que a mente do lama é a dakini porque corporifica a inseparabilidade da vacuidade e da sabedoria, a dakini absoluta.
Essa natureza absoluta, dharmakaya, manifesta-se como a exibição sutil do samboghakaya dakini e do nirmanakhaya, ou forma física de grandes detentores de realização feminina para beneficiar os seres”. (Gates to Buddhist Practice 243)
Por isso, para o praticante budista, as dakinis são manifestações na forma feminina que aparecem para ajudar os seres humanos.
Eles podem aparecer como belas donzelas em uma variedade de formas, calmas, furiosas ou ferozes.
Eles geralmente são retratadas vestindo apenas seus ornamentos, e em uma posição de dança.
Suas formas mais ferozes servem para ajudar a superar os obstáculos em nossa aspiração de fazer progresso espiritual.
Seus implementos:
Em geral, as dakinis, empunham uma faca esfoliante (Skt. Kartica, Tib. Tri gug, pron. Drigug) que tira a carne da aparência dos ossos da sabedoria/verdade: vacuidade.

Esses chakras ou “círculos” (Skt. Chakra , Tib. ‘Khor lo ) foram deixados como um legado por Guru Padmasambhava e outros grandes mestres para beneficiar as gerações futuras. Eles são originários de manuscritos antigos ou blocos de impressão.
1. Libertação através do uso, Tag Drol (btags grol gyi ‘khol lo) .
Estes chakras são colocados no topo da cabeça ou no centro do coração de uma pessoa moribunda para criar conexão kármica positiva e uma possibilidade de libertação durante o estado intermediário (bardo) e a próxima vida.

Como as contrações de taquigrafia são informais, a contração usada para uma determinada palavra pode variar de fonte para fonte.

Libertação através do uso (btags grol)
Esses chakras ou “círculos” (Skt. Chakra , Tib. ‘Khor lo ) foram deixados como um legado por Guru Padmasambhava e outros grandes mestres para beneficiar as gerações futuras. Eles são originários de manuscritos antigos ou blocos de impressão.
1. Libertação através do uso, Tag Drol (btags grol gyi ‘khol lo) .
Estes chakras são colocados no topo da cabeça ou no centro do coração de uma pessoa moribunda para criar conexão kármica positiva e uma possibilidade de libertação durante o estado intermediário (bardo) e a próxima vida.
